Who is Mallory?

Mallory is an 800-hour RYT. She has studied at Yoga Mechanics with Donna Scro Samori and Omni Kitts Ferrara. When Mallory is not teaching in a yoga studio you can find her educating students on the Autism Spectrum.
Through her yoga training, Mallory understands that every body is different. Yoga can be adapted to teach anyone. She has a knack for being technical and will guide each body in and out of poses through her words. Mallory believes that functional movement should be integrated into every yoga practice.
Mallory began practicing yoga as a form of exercise and it grew into a way of life. Yoga has encouraged her to be more mindful in her day to day life. It has allowed her to pause, evaluate and reassess every situation. While her practice on the mat is invaluable, it is Mallory’s practice off the mat that has promoted her individual growth as a yoga instructor. It is Mallory's privilege to share her knowledge with her students.

What can I expect in Mallory's Yoga Class?
A functional yoga class, where students will learn how to move through each pose safely. The class will encourage the students to foster a deeper understanding of what their body is capable of. Students will achieve this understanding through movements which promote mobility and kinesthetic awareness while maintaining alignment to promote an effective yoga practice. Expect a well-rounded class which leaves the student feeling balanced.

Why should you practice with Mallory?
Whether you are practicing with Mallory in a yoga studio or during a private session she will provide you with clear and concise directions. She will encourage you to explore your body in a way that you may have never thought to move and have fun while doing it.
